My story is about creating harmony for myself and the people I cross paths with through art. I believe surrounding yourself around beauty is healing and inspiring.
I started working with glass when I signed up for a fun class for a college credit in 2008. Instantly, I fell in love! I worked hard during Nursing School to obtain a job and support my glass dream. Since then I have been training and expanding my skills to create one of a kind and original functional art.
To be very honest and transparent, I suffer from depression and anxiety. Glass work is my outlet and helps with keeping the darkness out. Each of my pieces are created from passion of my inner child. I believe every piece of art is predestined to their new homes and I love seeing the joy in people's eyes when they find their piece!
I choose to share this about myself to help others who may feel hopeless and I want to say there is light and finding it is a journey. One day, your struggles will give you strength, wisdom, and understanding. Life is good and I appreciate your time reading this! Stay glassy!!!
